Sarbjit Cheema Biography 
Sarbjit Cheema is a Punjabi singer and film actor popularly known as Cheema. He debut in lead role in the film Pind Di Kudi in 2004 opposite Sheeba Bhakri and Veena Malik and took a break from the acting career. Later he acted in 2009 movie, Apni Boli Apna Des and Welcome To Punjab (2010). Haani with Harbhajan Mann is his latest movie. He produced a Punjabi film title Punjab Bolda in the year 2012. As a pop singer, Punjabi song Rangla Punjab from his album Mela Vekhdiye Mutiyare (1996) was a chartbuster. Billo teri tor vekh ke,Dhol Vajda, Rang rara riri rara, Bhangra, Boliyan, Nacho-Nacho, Khatta Doria and Chandigarh Shehar di kudi are his other popular songs. He has also done 2 Religious albums and 12 studio albums.
He was born in the village Cheema Kalan of Jalandhar on June 14, 1968. He was interested in hockey in his childhood days and was the captain of school team. During his childhood, he regularly listened to folk singers gathered at their village open during “Khed Melas”. He joined Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. During this time he was a part of Bhangra singing group of the college for 5 years and has won many competitions at College level, University level and Punjab level. Once Balraj Singh Bassi listened him singing for a club and appreciated him. After graduation, he went to Canada.
`Ni aaja nach le’ and `Billo teri tor vekh ke’ are the popular tracks among youngsters. His most successful album “Chandigarh Shaher Di Kuddi” exclusively belongs to youth. He experimented rock with Boliyan and Gidha Beats, which became immensely popular. Yaar Nachde, Ajj Khande Chon Kaum Sajni, Khatta Doria, Mela Vekhdiye Mutiyare, Chandigarh Shehar Di Kudi, Nacho-Nacho and Mein Haan Putt Punjab Da are among his released albums. Duniya is his latest release.
