Sara Ali Khan is a star kid from Bollywood, who is to mark her Bollywood debut in 2018. She is the daughter of Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, and the granddaughter of former Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore and her husband Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, a former cricketer who served as captain of Indian test cricket team and also a royal Nawab family. Thus Sara Ali Khan belongs to a royal family as well, with relationship to the famous Tagore family. Her stepmother is Kareena Kapoor, a member of Kapoor film family, and a leading actress of present times. Noted Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan is her paternal aunt, and Kunal Khemu, her uncle. She is to mark her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. The movie is helmed by Abhishek Kapoor.

Sara Ali Khan was born on 12^th August 1993. This Muslim Nawabi girl from Mumbai was born into one of the most prolific and popular royal families in India. Her family remained as Nawabs (rulers) of princely state of Pataudi State in Northern India till kings’ rule came to an end in India following independence. Her royal family has close links with cricket and Bollywood too, two most popular and influential fields in India, with her grandfather Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi being a former cricketer and her grandmother Sharmila Tagore, a very popular Bollywood actress of yesterdays who ruled screen in the 1960s and 1970s. Her parents too have remained top stars of Bollywood, though in different decades. Her mother Amrita Singh was a top star of 1980s, while her father Saif Ali Khan is popular since mid-1990s, and later established himself as a huge star. But her parents got legally separated in 2004 after 14 years of togetherness.

Sara completed her education in 2016 at the Columbia University in New York. There were speculations that she is to follow her parents’ footsteps and reach Bollywood cinema soon after studies. She appeared on the cover page of Hello magazine alongside her mother. Though she received many modelling offers, her parents wanted her to complete studies first. She was weighing over 80 pounds at one point of time, but now reduced her weight to pursue a career in films.
