Sanjeev Shrivastva Biography 
Sanjeev Shrivastva, better known as ‘Dancing Uncle’ is a professor from Bhopal, who turned a national dancing figure, after his dancing video of a Bollywood song went viral in 2018. A single video in which the veteran professor is seen dancing for a marriage function changed his destiny as well as course of life. His dance steps for the popular Govinda song of 1980s, ‘Aapke Aa Jaane Se’ on stage rocked the net in May/June 2018, registering millions of views within a month or so. The professor who turned famous for his single dance move later danced with several Bollywood celebrities like Govinda and Salman Khan on several platforms, most notably television shows.
Sanjeev Shrivastva is not a dancer by profession. But dancing bug hit him at the age of 10, and he is a huge fan of Bollywood dance moves too. Though he later got into the job of teaching, he never left his passion, and used to dance at functions, weddings etc to entertain others. He is also a casual dancer, but with unique dance moves. He has also performed for stage shows since 1982. He is currently a professor at Bhabha University, Bhopal aged 46.
His life changing video was shot at a Sangeet ceremony of a wedding on 12th May, 2018, and it was his brother-in-law’s wedding at Gwalior, UP. While performing on stage also, Sanjeev’s performance was widely appreciated, and someone put it on net. The dance video went viral over net, and he got busy with phone calls for the next few months. He also got opportunity to meet and dance with Govinda and Salman Khan. He is affectionately nicknamed 'Dancing Uncle' by social media fans. In 2019 he released a music video titled 'Chacha Naach'.
