Sanjana Singh is a Tamil film actress who made her debut with 2009 critically acclaimed film – Renigunta. Also appeared in a few item songs for the movies like Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal, Ko, Veyilodu Vilayadu and Mayanginen Thayanginen, she is quite active in the industry and a familiar face. The crime thriller Yaarukku Theriyum with Harish Raj is her upcoming movie. Rendavathu Padam, Thappu Thalangal, Maane Thaene Paeye, Kadhal Padhai, Amali Thumali and Veyilodu Vilayadu are other upcoming movies, where she is to appear as an actress or dancer. She has also done dance sequences for a few B-grade Hindi movies like Face of Truth, Thoda Lutf Thoda Ishq, and one Kannada film – Challenge in 2012.

Sanjana Singh belongs to Mumbai, born in the year 1986. This Mumbai based model made her debut in the critically acclaimed 2009 film Renigunta, where she played the elder sister’s role. The movie starring Johnny and Sanusha in the lead roles was written and directed by R. Panneerselvam. After playing the second lead in Renigunta, she did a special guest appearance in Ko and had solo song sequences in Mayanginen Thayanginen, Veyilodu Vilayadu and Marupadiyum Oru Kaathal. She accepted these item numbers following requests from film friends.

Through these dance numbers, she got noticed for her dance moves and got similar roles later. Since her award winning debut performance as heroine’s elder sister in Renigunta, she got varied roles in Tamil including lead and support roles and guest appearances. She played female lead in a film titled Yarukku Theriyum, directed by Ganesan Kamaraj and Thappu Thaalangal directed by Adhyaman. She played a glamorous role in Maramudiya Kadal. She has also bagged a lead role in Hindi - Jalwai Ye Zindagi and one among the three lead ladies of Zameen Se Asman.
