Sandeepa Dhar is an upcoming Bollywood actress and model, who earned critical acclaim and many nominations for her Bollywood debut in 2010. She debut in lead role opposite Akshay Oberoi in Rajashri Productions, Isi Life Mein that was a moderate hit at box office. She played a cameo appearance in Bollywood blockbuster ‘Debangg 2’ which received positive reviews. Heropanti, ‘Golu and Pappu’ and Global Baba are her upcoming Bollywood movies. She has also appeared in television ads of Tanishq, Pepsi, Virgin Mobile, Motorolla, Toyota Innova, Fair Glow, Santoor Deo, Head and shoulders, and Dabur.

Sandeepa was born in Srinagar, Kashmir. She was born on 2nd February 1987. She currently resides in Mumbai. Her schooling was done at UP and Bangalore and graduation at Mumbai. She holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising from 'St. Xavier's College. She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and has got training from Vani Ganapathy, ex-wife of Kamal Hassan. She also took dance classes from dance schools of famous Bollywood choreographers - Shaimak Davar and Terence Lewis. She is also trained in jazz. She made her Bollywood debut in 2010 with Isi Life Mein opposite actor Akshay Oberoi. She received nominations for her promising debut at prestigious Filmfare Awards as well as Star Screen Award and Stardust Award.

She is a Kashmiri Brahmin best known as the "Santoor Girl" in a famous television commercial. Madhuri Dixit is her idol. In her upcoming movie, Golu and Pappu, she stars aside Kunal Roy Kapur and Vir Das. Sandeepa has signed a 3 film deal with Viacom 18 and will be seen shortly in movies - 'Rock'n in Love', 'Black Sheep' and 'Heropanti'.
