Sandeep Acharya Biography 
Sandeep Acharya was the winner of second season of the most popular singing talent hunt show – Indian Idol in 2006. He was a singer from Rajasthan who shot to fame after this reality show. But he died most recently in December 2013 in Gurgaon, Haryana following jaundice. He was only 29 then. He was the runner up of the Golden Voice of India and has also won best new Bollywood talent in New Jersey. He was married one year ago and was survived with his wife and a child. He has also participated in television show - Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1. ‘Mere Saath Saara Jahaan’ was his first released album and was supposed to release his new album in mid-December, ‘O Sanam Tere Bina’ before he was admitted to hospital same month.
He was born on February 4, 1984 in Rajasthan. He has 3 siblings – 2 sisters and one brother. He was the youngest of all and his father was a civil contractor. One of his brothers is an aeronautical engineer. He was born and brought up at Bikaner. He is a trained singer and learnt from many gurus including Hemant Bhatt and Rajendra Changani. His parents also supported him the best. He came to Mumbai for the first time while doing graduation and it was to record some devotional songs.
While audition of Indian Idol was going on, he was at a visit to Nepal to meet his maternal grandfather. So, he attended the auditions held at Kolkata. As it was not his hometown he was a little nervous. But he got selected. Later he won the trophy to become overnight star. Teri Sajani, Wo pahli bar and Tera Diwana are his other released albums.
