Sanchita Shetty Biography 
Sanchita Shetty is a south Indian film actress who acts in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies. Shetty shot to fame after starring in Soodhu Kavvum (2014). Made debut with Kannada movie, Mungaru Male in 2006 in a supporting role, slowly she moved to lead roles. However it took a long time to establish herself in the industry. She was last seen in Pizza II: Villa and a few movies are in Pipeline. Badmaash (Kannada), Ennodu Vilayadu, Enkita Modhadhae and Love Guru are her upcoming movies.
Sanchita Shetty was born in Bangalore, Karnataka. She played Pooja Gandhi’s friend’s role in Mungaru Male. Though she stayed in the industry for a couple of years, she was offered only supporting character roles. In the three years she managed to get only three movies and Gaganachukki got shelved. After a series of setbacks from Kannada film industry, she decided to try her luck in Telugu and Tamil movies. At the age of 20 Sanchita bagged a prominent role in Bhasker's, Orange. She went to audition for the hero's friend's lover's role and end up with a good role. She appeared alongside Jayam Ravi in Thillalangadi just before bagging the role in ‘Orange’. Though she played supporting roles in both these movies, they went on to become huge successes.
Kollaikaran in 2012 was her first movie as a lead actress. Directed by Tamil Selvan, she was paired with Vidharth of Mynaa fame. The movie was panned by critics and was a box office failure. After a lot of struggles, she bagged the title role in the highly acclaimed Soodhu Kavvum (2014), which proved to be the real breakthrough.
