Sanchita Padukone Biography 
Sanchita Padukone is a south Indian film actress, associated with Kannada, Tamil and Telugu films. But she is not related to Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone, but both of them share the same village where they were born. Padukone is a place name, not a family name. Padukone marked her film debut with 2009 Kannada film, Ravana and has later appeared in 7 more movies made in different south Indian languages. This Kannadiga girl started her career with Kannada films, and later got busy in Telugu and Tamil films.
She hails from Padukone, near Kundapura in Mangalore. Padukone is the name of a village. Sanchita started her career with the Kannada film, Raavana opposite Yogish, a remake of Dhanush starrer Tamil flick, Kadhal Kondein. She watched the original version at least 15 times and loved Dhanush’s acting skills. After her debut flick, she signed two Tamil films – Vettaikaaran and Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu. The first one to get released was Vettaikaaran in 2009 marking her Tamil debut. Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu released two years later. She marked her Telugu debut with 2015 film, Chammak Challo and also did one more Telugu film, Manoharam the same year.
She appeared in two more Kannada films later - Satya Harishchandra and Raambo 2. Her recent Telugu movie, Rachayitha got released in 2018. It opened to poor reviews and was a box office bomb. She played female lead opposite Vidya Sagar Raju in this flick. The movie couldn’t revive her professional career too. Many believe that she shares some kind of resemblance with Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone. But the actress never thinks so. There were rumours that she is Deepika’s first cousin, as they share same surname. Till she marked her film debut, she has never met Deepika, though both hail from same village.
