Sanah Moidutty Biography 
Sanah Moidutty is a young playback singer associated with Indian music industry. This talented singer of Kerala origin is known for her association with A. R. Rahman for Bollywood and Tamil projects. She sang the popular romantic track, Tu Hai from Hrithik roshan starrer, Mohenjodaro which shot her to instant fame. She also sang Sindhu Ma and the title track of the film composed by A. R. Rahman. She also worked with Rahman for Tamil film, 24 last year.
She was born in Mumbai in 1991 to Malayali parents. Sanah started singing at the age of 5 and since then she dreamt to become a singer. She is trained in Carnatic music, Hindustani music and Western music under the guidance of Sundari Gopalakrishnan, Madhuvanti Pethe and Samantha Edwards respectively. She also got training for a brief period from Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan. She performed on stage for the first time at the age of 7, and later got associated with a few music troupes for kids. By the age of 18, she had already completed more than 500 stage shows, as solo singer and in group combined. She stood second in Hindustan Times Voice of Mumbai in 2007.
She completed B Tech in Computer science, yet pursued a career in music. She got her first break to playback singing for a Bollywood film while she was doing her engineering course. She was spotted at a talent hunt show during her college competitions and she sang the title track of the Bollywood film, Always Kabhi Kabhi in 2011. Two years later, she sang Moto Ghotalo song from Kareena Kapoor starrer, Gori Tere Pyar Mein. But both the songs didn’t give the big break she was actually waiting for.
She associated with Sanam band to sing the cover versions of Kora Kagaz Tha and Duaa (Acoustic), which gained her real recognition she was actually waiting for. In 2016, she associated with two big projects of A. R. Rahman in Tamil and Hindi, and her duet with Rahman, Tu Hai became an instant chartbuster. Afeemi from Meri Pyari Bindu is her recent release.
