Sana Amin Sheikh Biography

Sana Amin Sheikh is an Indian television and film actress and a popular radio jockey. She appeared in Bollwyod movies like 2011 hit movie, Singham as Anjali Bose and 2013 hit - Table No 21 as Neeti. She played lead role in Hindi soaps - Jeet Jayenge Hum and Mera Naam Karegi Roshan and one of the lead actress roles in Kya Mast Hai Life as Ritu Shah. She played negative role in Sasural Simar Ka and most recently in 2013, she appeared in lead role in Gustak dil, where she played the role of Lajjo/Laajwanti. She also acted in Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya in 2011. Her Bollywood debut happened with Rohit Shetty's Singham. Sana is working as an RJ on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM since August 2004, where she anchors the show - Khubsurut Sana Ke Sath.

Sana Amin Sheikh was born into a Muslim family in Mumbai and she currently resides in the metro city. She is fluent in speaking languages - Urdu, English, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi and one of the popular RJs of FM network. She studied at St. Joseph's Convent, Bandra and graduated from RD National College, Bandra in 2005. Sana happened to hear an RJ inviting listeners to audition to be a radio jockey. Sana attended the audition and was selected as radio jockey in 2004. "Khoobsorat Sana" and "TRP - Television Radio Par" are the radio programs hosted by Sana.

Sana has been interested in acting since early childhood and now she is one of the established actresses of Hindi small screen. She became popular through lead role as Ritu Shah on the Disney Channel India Original Series, Kya Mast Hai Life, as Suman in Jeet Jayenge Hum, and as Reet in Mera Naam Karegi Roshan. She has entered Bollywood also.
