Samyuktha Hegde Biography

Samyuktha Hegde is a very popular south Indian actress associated with Kannada and Telugu movies. One of the popular young actress of present times, she marked her acting debut with Kannada film, Kirik Party in 2016, for which she earned Filmfare Award for Best supporting Actress. Her supporting role as Arya shot her to fame, and helped her to bag more roles. She marked her Telugu debut with 2018 film, Kirrak Party, the remake of Kannada original, and she reprised her original role too. She has done two more Kannada films - College Kumar (2017) in a lead role, and Thurthu Nirgamana (2018).

Samyuktha Hegde hails from Bangalore, Karnataka. Hegde was born to a Hindu father and Christian mother. She grew up in Bangalore where she completed her studies. But she discontinued her graduation studies to pursue a career in acting and dancing. She marked her film debut at the age of 17, where she played the supporting role of Arya in Kannada flick, Kirik Party released in 2016. The film opened to positive reviews, and her role was well-received. She also received Filmfare award for best supporting actress for her debut role in films. In 2018, she reprised the same role in Telugu version of the same flick with same name.

She played the love interest of film’s hero in both these versions.  Rakshit Shetty’s original lead role in Kannada was reprised by Nikhil Siddharth in Telugu. In 2017, she bagged her first lead role through Santhu’s College Kumar. She has appeared as a contestant in MTV Roadies (season 14) in 2017, and also appeared as a guest in Bigg Boss Kannada 5 in 2017.
