Sampoornesh Babu is a newcomer actor of Telugu film actor, coming from a non-filmy background. He portrays both lead and supporting roles. His first flick Hrudaya Kaleyam (as lead) in 2014 caught everyone’s eye in a short time and gave good impression among viewers. His last release was Singam 123, released in 2015 in which he played the male lead. A romantic action spoof comedy film directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma, though Singam 123 opened to negative reviews, it was a box office hit. He played Suuny Leone’s fiancée in Current Theega, released in 2014, which gained him attention. His bit role in Bandipotu was also noted. Jyothi Lakshmi, Pesarattu and Where is Vidyabalan are his other releases. He was roped for a cameo role in Vikram starrer Tamil film - “10 Enradhukulla”.

Sampoornesh Babu was born and brought up in Siddipet, Telangana. He belongs to a non-filmy background. It was his dream to become an actor since early childhood. He made his film debut as lead hero/comedy actor for the spoof action film - Hrudaya Kaleyam in 2014. S. S. Rajamouli's tweet and a one-minute trailer uploaded on you tube became instant hit. Upon release, the film received positive reviews from critics and audience and was a box office hit. The movie also bagged him CineMAA Award for Best Actor in Comic Role.

Since then he has been in limelight and has earned the nicknames - Sampoo, Burning Star, Sampoo Anna etc. This energetic actor is also known as a singer and a dancer. With his second release, Current Theega, he grabbed everyone’s attention playing porn star Sunny Leone’s fiancée. Sampoornesh Babu is also known for his philanthropic activities, for raising funds for victims of natural calamities.
