Samiksha Bhatnagar Biography

Samiksha Bhatnagar is a popular television actress of Hindi television soaps, best known for playing Gurpreet, the parallel lead in popular television series on Star Plus, Veera. She was also seen in a cameo role in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Calendar Girls, the movie based on showbiz and fashion in Mumbai. She played a corporate woman in Bhandarkar’s film. Arjun, Baal Veer, Neeli Chatri Waale etc are other noted roles on small screen. She also played one of the main leads in Gupp Chupp, a silent comedy broadcast on Sab TV in 2016. She was seen in the role of Selfie Queen in the show.

 

Samiksha Bhatnagar hails from Dehradun, Uttarakhand. She had a brief stint in theatre before she started her television journey. She received her first break to television in the year 2011. She was offered the parallel lead role of Gurpreet in Veera on Star Plus and the initial success helped her to bag a few more noted roles. She played a fairy in the popular television series for kids, Baal Veer. Zubeida of Uttaran is yet another popular role.

 

Samiksha started her career in Gurgaon. She is a trained performer in western dance forms like Jazz, Contemporary, ballet, hip-hop & salsa, and is also trained in Indian classical forms – Bharathnatyam, Manipuri and Kathak. She is also a prolific dancer in Indian semi-classical forms. She has received best dancer award at Shiamak Devar’s performing arts institute for her stage performance.

 

She worked as a choreographer and did a lot of events in Delhi and Gurgaon before she shifted to Mumbai to pursue her dreams. She also received many modelling offers while in Gurgaon. Yet she decided to move to Mumbai in hope of more opportunities. She loves road food of Delhi, and chaat and chhole kulche are her weakness.
