Saleel Kulkarni Biography 
Saleel Kulkarni is a renowned Marathi music composer and singer from Maharashtra. He is a leading columnist also and has published his maiden book ‘Lapawlelya Kacha’ which was a top seller in 2010. Already four editions of this book have been reprinted. He has a celebrity judge at “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” on Zee Marathi and “Gaurav Maharashtracha” for ETV Marathi for 2 seasons. He comperes the weekly show ‘Madhali Sutti’ on Zee Marathi. His music journey started at the age of 3 when he performed for AIR. His columns "Musically Yours" in Marathi newspaper Loksatta are popular.
Saleel was born and brought up in Pune. He sang the Marathi Prose ‘Jayostute’ for All India Radio, Pune station at the age of 3 marking his debut in singing field. Later he took formal training from Pandit Gangadharbuva Pimpalkhare, Jaymalabai Shiledar and Pramod Marathe. Saleel is a doctor by profession and has worked as a physician for a few years before he concentrated full time for music. He just wanted to become an independent artist. He has been the part of music industry for more than a decade and has composed songs for both Hindi and Marathi languages.
Saleel has also done a few albums and stage performances as a singer. His association with Sandip Khare, a young poet for the show ‘Ayushyawar Bolu Kahi’ was immensely popular. He has also acted as judge for a few reality shows. As a music director and singer, his most noted Marathi works are Ek Unad Divas, Ata Kashyala Udyachi Baat, Dhaage Dore, Nishani Dava Angatha, Jana Gana Mana, Vitthal Vitthal, Chintoo 1 and 2, Champion and Jameen. Chodo Kal Ki batein is his Hindi work. His noted albums include - Naamanjur, Damalelya Babanchi Kahani, Sang Sakhya Re, Ayushavar Bolu Kahi, Dipadi Dipang Anand Pahat and Sandhiprakashat.
