Sakshi Sem Biography

Sakshi Sem is an Indian actress who started her career as a child artist. She has played child artist role since early 2000’s. She was one among the mischievous kids who appeared in the first production venture of Ajay Devgan, Raju Chacha released in 2000. Later she played numerous roles as a child artist in movies like Darna Zaroori Hai (2006), Sssshhh (2003) and numerous television commercials. She is to debut in as adult actress in Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming project based on a real life murder mystery.

She is to play her first central character, the role of a teenager in the murder mystery film ‘Rahasya' directed by Manish Gupta. Rahasya is the story of the sensation case of Noida double murder case, where 14-year old teenager Aarushi Talwar and 45-year-old Hemraj were murdered in the apartment in Sector 25, Noida. Sakshi Sem is to portray the role of the teenager, Aarushi Talwar. The prime suspects of the mysterious case, parents of Aarushi are to be played by leading Bollywood actors, Tisca Chopra and Ashish Vidyarthi. The director had to search a lot to find the teenager for the role. The director has directed 9-year old Sakshi in Ram Gopal Varma’s productions’ ‘Darna Mana Hai’ (2006). She is 18 year old right now and she has been following the case since she has been selected for the role. The movie is produced by Ram Gopal Varma.

The story simply gives the sketch of a disturbed teenager settled in urban world who is exposed to sexual atmosphere and shares a tensed relationship with her parents. Shakti has also appeared in television serials like Baa Bahu aur Baby and Ram Milaye Jodi. She has received the Bournvita Kid Prodigy Award for her creative talent.
