Sakshi Gulati Biography

Sakshi Gulati is a successful Indian model who later entered Bollywood. She made her Bollywood debut with famous director known for gangster movies, Ram Gopal Varma's 2008 film Contract. She played female lead in this movie, in the backdrop of terrorism. Later she appeared in The Film Emotional Atyachar (2010), and the Telugu film KSD Appalaraju (2011). Telugu movie Chitrangada is her upcoming flick. She is also currently doing one comedy Hindi movie. After her big break in Bollywood, she was seen in supporting roles in her next releases. Gulati is a successful model who won Femina Miss India 2007 runner-up title. She has walked the ramp for Wills lifestyle Fashion Week and worked with leading fashion designers - Manav Gangwani, Neeta Lulla, Ashima Leena, and Nishka Lulla.

She was born in 1983 in Meerat, UP into a Punjabi family of Army background. She completed graduation in Economics from University of Delhi. She is also a trained dancer in Kathak and Salsa and has also taken acting course. Sakshi is a trained swimmer, horse rider and a voracious reader. She has been a successful ramp model who worked with leading designers of the country and has endorsed many products. She also appeared in many print campaigns for several brands and has also done video ads.

This actress adores adventure sports and her interest helped her to do stunt sequences for her debut movie – Contract. Sakshi trained for three hours for a jet-skiing scene in the ocean without life jacket, while shooting in Thailand. The movie completed Ramu’s trilogy of underworld movies, Satya and Company being the other two. It was one of her friends who suggested her to meet RGV, seeing her interest in acting.
