Sajitha Betti is a very popular television actress and host associated with Malayalam entertainment industry. She has also acted in a few film roles. This actress is known for portraying comic and negative roles with perfection. Sajitha is a household name among television audience. She also appeared in Dileep starrer comedy movies - “Mayamohini” and “Mr. Marumakan”. She was seen in a grey shaded role in Mr. Marumakan. She entered film scene as a child artist and later moved to adult roles. She also acts in Malayalam albums and TV commercials. She is associated with film scene as a child artist since 1993.

Sajitha made her acting debut through a tele film as a child artist. She made her film debut through ‘Mr & Mrs’  in 1993.. Later she was seen in comedy hits – Sreekrishnapurathe Nakshathrathilakkam and Thenkasippatnam. Since then she has entertained audience through her screen presence. ‘Dubai’, ‘Kaayamkulam Kanaaran’, ‘Oomapenninu Urayada Payyan’, ‘Mele Vaaryathe Maalakhakuttikal’, ‘Red Salute’, ‘Ee Pattanathil Bhootham’, ‘Canvas’, ‘Thaskara Lahala’, ‘Mr. Marumakan’, ‘Veendum Kannur’, ‘Seniors’, ‘November Rain’, ‘College Kumaran’ etc are among her noted film roles. In most films, she does some small role, yet she leaves her mark through the character role she plays.

Sajitha was born into an Urdu-speaking Muslim family from Hyderabad. She has four siblings – two brothers and two sisters. She is married to Shamas. She is indeed popular as a serial actress, mostly through the negative and comic roles she plays. She acts in Malayalam and Tamil television serials. ‘Ammakkili’ on Asianet is one of her prominent television roles. The serial directed by Faisal Adimali in the early 2000s gave her a major breakthrough to television career.
