Sachindra Nath Sanyal Biography 
Sachindra Nath Sanyal was an Indian freedom fighter and revolutionary from Benaras, Uttar Pradesh. He was the founder of the revolutionary organization - Hindustan Republican Association (HRA) which catalyzed revolutionary movement in India and many young people joined it. Chandrashekhar Azad and Bhagat Singh were among those prominent names associated with HRA and many of his close relatives have also joined the organization. In 1928 it was renamed as Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA). He was one of the prominent figures behind Ghadar conspiracy and was also associated with Kakori train robbery and murder attempt of Lord Hardinge in 1912.
He was born in 1893 to Hari Nath Saniyal and Kherod Vasini Devi in Varanasi, UP. Many of his close relatives including brothers and cousins were involved in freedom struggle movement and for the same reason the family had to face frequent harassment from British. The first authentic biography of Bhagat Singh was published by his brother Jatindranath though it was banned by the British. He was a close associate of Ras Behari Bose and organized a soldier revolt of the 7th Rajput Regiment in the United Provinces. He got arrested for the plan and was sentenced to transportation for life. HRA was founded soon after his release.
He was associated with Ram Prasad Bismil to draft the notorious Kakori conspiracy and British treasury was looted by 10 revolutionaries under the leadership of Bismil. Sanyal was found guilty for the conspiracy and sentenced to life. He wrote the book "Bandi Jeevan" while spending his life in jail. Once released, he got engaged with anti-British activities once again and got jailed again. He contracted TB in jail, and died in 1942.
