Sachin Warrier Biography

Sachin Warrier is a very successful playback singer and youth sensation of Malayalam cinema. He shot to fame after singing the romantic track - Muthuchippi poloru, aside actress Remya Nambesan from the film Thattathin Marayathu. Thattathin Marayathe Penne is the next popular track of the same album. The unexpected success of both these tracks made him a sensational young singer overnight. He is best known for his association with young music composers of M town - Shaan Rahman and Gopi Sunder. Maangalyam from the blockbuster Bangalore days is his latest hit. Thaazhe Nee Tharame of Thira, Etho Sayahna Swapnangalil of 10:30 am Local Call, Parayathe from Rasputin, Vaathil Melle of Neram and Pakalakannu Doore of Bavuttiyude Namathil are other popular tracks.

 
He was an IT guy and worked in TCS in Infopark before entering Mollywood industry. He made his singing debut through Vineeth Sreenivasan’s debut movie as a director – Malarvadi Arts Club. The movie marked the successful career beginning of a bunch of newcomers.  Aayiram Katham and Maanya Maha Janangale are the songs sung by him and the music was given by Shaan Rahman. Shaan Rahman gave him the next opportunity for the song ‘Ee Chakkada Vandi’ of Metro. When Vineeth teamed up with Shaan Rahman for his second directorial venture, Sachin got opportunity to sing the best two tracks of the movie. Muthuchippi poloru proved to be a surprise hit to actress Remya Nambesan too, as she was familiar to industry only as an actress before.

 
Sachin didn’t seriously learnt music, except three years of formal training. But music has been always a part of his life. He is now formally learning music under the noted carnatic musician T.V. Gopalakrishnan in Chennai. He is a graduate from FISAT, Angamali.
