Sachin Kale Biography 
Sachin Kale is an agriculturist by profession. He hails from Medhpar village of Bilaspur district, Chattisgarh. He was a mechanical engineer by profession, who later switched to farming and earned huge profits, thus inspiring everyone to take farming as the main earning option. As an engineer, he earned 24 lakh per annum. But as a farmer he earns more than 2 crore rupees per year. His story is really inspiring.
Sachin Kale had an ancestral farm in Medhpar village of Bilaspur district, Chattisgarh. His grandfather who was a government employee always loved farming. After retirement he wanted to start farming, but faced a lot of challenges as usual. Sachin often visits him at the village and was fascinated by the stories of farming told by his grandfather. Sachin’s parents wanted him to become an engineer or a doctor and to fulfil their dreams Sachin completed his mechanical engineering degree from REC, Nagpur in year 2000. He also completed MBA and law studies.
After studies he joined a power plant and worked for many years. He also earned good income. In 2007, Sachin started his PhD in developmental economics after which he decided to give business and entrepreneurship a try. His grandfather often told about his dream to revive farming in their 25-acre ancestral land, and encouraged him to take up farming. The main issues Sachin focussed on, was the availability of labour. He started thinking about different methods through which farmers can earn more benefits.
He was then working as a manager for Punj Lloyd at Gurgaon leading a luxurious life when he decided to call it quit in 2013. He shifted to Medhpar to become a farmer with absolutely no clue about farming, and he had to learn from the basics. Sachin invested his entire provident fund of 15 years and set up a clean energy model where his farm was useful all year round and gave a maximum of profit. He also decided that if he fails then he would return back to his corporate job to support his family. He started researching about contract farming and launched his own company, Innovative Agrilife Solutions Pvt. Ltd in 2014, which helped farmers with the contract farming model of farming. It turned to be a huge success.
