Sachin Bansal Biography 
Sachin Bansal born in Chandigarh on 5th August 1981 is a software engineer. Sachin bansal completed his schooling from St. Anne’s Convent School. He was an excellent student with high grades in completed his engineering from Indian institute of Technology. Sachin started his career as an engineer with Techspan and later shifted to Amazon.
At Amazon Sachin met his school and IIT mate Binny Bansal and they decided to start a similar company with the name of Flipkart in 2007. Sachin and Binny Bansal sold books in the first phase and the first book they sold was 'Leaving Microsoft To Change The World’ that was bought by a person from Andhra Pradesh. Today the net worth of Flipcart is close to Rs 80 Billion.
Since then Flipcart has progressed a lot and its success story is for everyone to see. Sachin Bansal is running India's largest e-commerce company with a staff of more than 33000. Flipkart has launched its own product range under the name "DigiFlip" with products including tablets, USBs, and laptop bags. Initially Sachin and his partner started with a working capital of Rs. 400,000 only that was used for developing a website to set up the business. Later Flipkart raised funds from different market sources including venture capital funds.
Sachin Bansal is married to a dentist Dr. Priya and the couple has a son born in 2010. They are having a happy married life and find enough time for outings and movies deste being too busy in their profession. It would be worth mentioning at this point that failure of Flipcart's 2014 Big Billion Sale taught Sachin a lesson and now Flipkart has announced another Big Billion Sale which is to begin starting on October 13 through October 17 2015.
