Saba Mumtaz Biography 
Saba Mumtaz is a scriptwriter of Hindi TV shows. She is also a producer. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Navya, Chand Chupa Badal Mein, Ek Boond Ishq, Haqeeqat, Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, Dharam Veer, Mohe Rang De and Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari are some of the popular shows for which she scripted at different points of time. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Chand Chupa Badal Mein and Ek Boond Ishq are some of the popular shows for which she scripts now. Saba started her writing career in 2001 with the show, Haqeeqat on Sahara One and currently one of the top writers of small screen.
Saba Mumtaz completed her studies from Delhi. She studied mass communication at AJK, Mass Communication Research Centre, affiliated to Jamia Milia Islamia University in Delhi. She received her first break as a screenwriter in the year 2001. Haqeeqat, a show based on real-life incidents gave her a major break and more offers from television world. Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan (2006-2009), Dharam Veer (2008), Mohe Rang De (2009) and Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari (2009) are some of the shows for which she scripted later. By that time she cemented her position in the industry. Currently she is a television producer too.
Saba Mumtaz hails from Delhi. Currently she is settled in Mumbai with her daughter. It’s interesting that Saba who had flunked her scriptwriting test in the mass communication class at Jamia (Millia Islamia), is now a successful scriptwriter. It’s a joke among her friends. She believes that all you need is a fertile mind to come up with real-life situations, and not a fancy degree.
