Saandesh B. Nayak Biography

Saandesh B. Nayak is a Bollywood film director and screenwriter. He is also known as a Grooming Director in the television industry. He marked his film debut in 2016 with the film, Love Shagun starring Anuj Sachdeva, Nidhi Subbaiah, Vikram Kochhar, Manit Joura, Taran Bajaj etc.  Zeenat is his upcoming release, and the movie stars Mallika Sherawat in lead role. The movie is now delayed for some unknown reason. Saandesh reached Mumbai to pursue a career in acting, started off with theatre, later did brief roles in Bollywood in the early 2000s before he switched to direction field. He is also one of the founders of the Web TV channel - Bumper clap online, and is known for his contributions to Hindi television industry.

 

Saandesh B. Nayak was born on 21 May 1975 in Hoshangabad, a small town in Bhopal. He was brought up in Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, where he pursued his studies. After completing his graduation in commerce, he ventured into business and started as a cable operator. He joined theater in 1987 as a school student, and got fascinated with the world of acting. He later participated in workshops conducted by NSD in Bhopal. To start off his career in theater, he moved to Mumbai in 1996, and was associated with plays of Mukesh Jadhav. He also joined Madhumati Acting Academy.

 

He started off as an actor in Bollywood doing bit roles in the early 2000s, and was seen in Josh, Say Salaam India and Maximum. He also worked in television in different roles. Currently he is a panel member of Creative Directors for National Film Development Corporation of India. He established Saanvi Nayak Films in the year 2014, and also one NGO, Saanvi Social Welfare Organization.
