Rupanjana Mitra Biography 
Rupanjana Mitra is a very popular Bengali film and television actress, best known for her work in Ek Akasher Niche and Behula. Since year 2000, she has essayed more than 60 characters, belonging to films, television and telefilms. Mitra has also anchored a few game shows for different TV channels in Bengali entertainment industry. She also worked as a model. She has worked with almost all reputed production houses from Bengali film and television industry, and also got associated with several leading directors of present times.
She was born to Gautam and Sukla Mitra on 24th July 1985. Her role as Binodhini in Chokker Bali was well appreciated. Tumi Asbe Bole, Checkmate,Sindoor Khela, Anchal, Soti, Janmabhumi, Tithi Athiti, Ek Akasher Niche, Behula, Khela, Durga, Premer khahini and Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki are among her elevsion roles up-to-date. She has appeared in a few Bengali films, and successfully hosted a few game shows for television too. Shoshur Bari Bonam Baper Bari, Utsaber Shera Paribar, Nacho To Dekhi etc are among the game shows which she hosted. She has also appeared in Hindi TV soaps like Tere Liye, produced by Balaji Telefilms.
Though she accepted plenty of roles during the early phase of her career, she later turned choosy when she turned an established actress in the industry. She is not interested to become a part of rat-race, and or she wants to stay at number one position. She just wants to make choices between the roles she gets, and accept a few meaty ones only. She acted in Bengali films such as Katakuti, Teen Tanaya, Magno Mainak, Premer Phande Kakatua and Dadar Adesh.
