Rohit Nayyar Biography

Rohit Nayyar is a less-known actor associated with Bollywood, who made his debut through Chot in 2004. He played the supporting role of Kabir Yadav in the film. Do Dilon Ke Khel Mai in 2010 is yet another released movie, where he played the male protagonist. Yun hi – is set to release in 2016, where he plays the male antagonist opposite Elena Kazan. Yun Hi is a love story of Indian guy and a German girl and the shooting of the film has started in March 2015. Rohit has also appeared in a Jagjit singh music video.

He was born in Lonavala, Maharashtra into a Punjabi family. His childhood and teens were spent in Lonavla, before he moved to Pune. He schooled from the prestigious Don Bosco, Lonavla. After graduation in commerce, he took LLB from Symbiosis Institute in Pune. He has been a tennis player during his college days. He also played badminton and was trained in martial arts. He belonged to a family of non-filmy background. He assisted Nabh Kumar Raju for four years and also trained to be an actor with the Kishor Namit Kapoor School in Mumbai before his foray to film world.

After playing a small role as Kabir Yadav in Chot in 2004, co-starring Ashutosh Rana, Sharad Kapoor, Jesse Randhawa and Nethra Raghuraman, his first major role was Do Dilon Ke Khel Mai in 2010. He played the lead role and shared screen space with superstar Rajesh Khanna, Anu Kapoor and Satish Kaushik. He was paired with Nausheen Ali Sardar and the film told rivalries of two families. He has completed shooting for an untitled project in 2015, where he played the male lead. The other stars of the film include - Dipannita Sharma, Sharat Saxena, Manjot Singh and Murli Sharma
