Ritu Nanda Biography 
Ritu Nanda – a member of prominent Kapoor filmy family is the Chief Executive Officer of Ritu Nanda Insurance Services (RNIS). She is into life insurance business and known to be a prominent insurance advisor of this field. She received ‘Brand and the Best Insurance Advisor of the Decade award’ from the LIC, the largest life insurance company of India. Ritu is the daughter of Showman of Bollywood, Raj Kapoor – a true legend. When her brothers chose acting as profession, she chose insurance sector, and now she is a successful entrepreneur.
Her maiden name is Ritu Kapoor. She was born in Mumbai in 1948 into the famous Kapoor family. She is the daughter of legendary actor Raj Kapoor and his wife, Krishna Kapoor. She is the graHer siblings are Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor and, Rima Kapoor Jain of whom all her three brothers earned fame through films. Her father and uncles – Shashi Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor fully dominated the Bollywood scene throughout 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Now third generation is also into film scene with her grandchildren - Karishma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Ranbeer Kapoor being the leading names. She is related to Amitabh Bachchan family too, as her son Nikhil Nanda, a prominent businessman is married to Ritu Nanda, daughter of Big B and Jaya Bachchan.
Currently she is a successful entrepreneur associated with the life insurance business. She owns Ritu Nanda Insurance Services with more than 55,000 clients. She created history by selling 17000 policies in a single day, thus entering the Guinness Book of Records. She also manages Escolife and Rimari Corporate art services. Ritu was diagnosed with cancer and currently recovering. She is a believer of Shirdi Sai Baba.
