Ritu Lalit Biography

Ritu Lalit is an Indian author who writes in English. She is a blogger from Faridabad, who authors novels and short stories, and hence a fictional writer. A Bowlful of Butterflies, Hilawi, Chakra, Chronicles of the Witch Way, Wrong for the Right Reasons and His Father’s Mistress are her published novels up-to-date. Thriller and fiction are her favourite genres of writing, and women always play a central role in your novels. She is a successful blogger who writes under the name of Phoenix Ritu. She owns two blogs – One for personal thoughts and second one for cooking. Her short stories form a part of school academics.

 

She was born in Delhi in 1964. Currently she is settled in Faridabad. She was raised in the North Eastern part of India. Her father was an electrical engineer employed with central government and for the same reason her younger days were spent at different parts of the country, where she completed her studies. She schooled from Kendriya Vidyalaya at different locations, where her father worked. She is gold medalist from Guwahati University in B.A. English literature. Later she completed her Master’s in English from University of Delhi.

 

Her first novel A Bowlful of Butterflies was published in 2011. After that she published four more novels in regular intervals. The last one published was His Father’s Mistress – published in 2014. She also published an ebook through Amazon titled Wrong for the Right Reasons. Apart from 6 published books and one e-book, she authored numerous short stories, and many of them are indeed popular. Through her writings, she has won the hearts of readers from all over the world and has been recognized simultaneously by all the top critics. She is also a corporate worker.
