Ritabhari Chakraborty Biography 
Ritabhari Chakraborty is a Bengali actress who got opportunity to work in movies, after working in Bangla television serials. Her appearance in television serial, Ogo Bodhu Sundari gave her the dream debut to Bengali cinema, through the movie, Tomar Shange Praner Khela released in 2011. Tobuo Basanta (2012) and Prem Unlimited (2013) are her next two releases. Now she appears in TV series, Chokher Tara Tui, aired on STAR Jalsha. Her television serial, Ogo Bodhu Sundari was later remade to Hindi as "Sasural Genda Phool", which was immensely popular among family audience.She played the female protagonist, ‘Lolita’ in the original Bengali version. She has already won many television awards for this popular television series.
She is born in the family of intellectuals. She is the daughter of noted film personality Satarupa Sanyal and theatre personality Utpalendu Chakraborty. She is the granddaughter of acclaimed Bengali poet, Tarun Sanyal. She made her screen debut with 2011 film Tomar Shange Praner Khela, directed by Rakesh Kumar. He was the same director who directed the television series, "Sasural Genda Phool". Her debut movie explored the relationship of leading female protagonist with 5 men, the leading role played by Ritabari. She played the role of a widow in her debut movie. The movie also starred Gourab Chatterjee, Hiran and Subrat Dutta.
In the latest release Prem Unlimited, she was casted opposite debutant actor, Sagar Dutta. As she is born in a family of artists, she has inherited a few of their talents. Apart from being a successful actress, Ritabhari Chakraborty is an accomplished singer, dancer, writer and painter. She was grown up watching documentaries and films of her mother and her ambition was to become a director. ‘Anupama’ is her upcoming television serial in Bangla.
