Rishab Prasanna Biography 
Rishab Prasanna is an Indian flautist from Delhi. He is the son of renowned flautist Rajendra Prasanna and the grandson of Raghunath Prasanna. His uncles Ravi Shankar Prasanna and Rakesh Prasanna are also well known musicians who play flute, and known for their musical concerts. His brother, Rajesh Prasanna is also a performer and the siblings appear together for live concerts too. Rishad practises flute in Hindustani classical style. Rishab Prasanna is one of the most promising young flautists of the country, who perform Hindustani music in Banaras style. He has been awarded as the cultural ambassador of French city Toulouse.
Rishab Prasanna hails from a musical family of Delhi, and his family has been associated with classical music for many generations. He belonged to a renowned family of musicians from Varanasi who have traditionally played the shehnai for many generations. His grandfather Raghunath Prasanna, his father Rajendra Prasanna, his uncles - Ravi Shankar Prasanna and Rakesh Prasanna and his brother Rajesh Prasanna are all musicians associated with the music instrument flute. They are all performers on stage, who earned a name of their own. In fact Rishab trained this musical instrument from his father, grandfather and uncles.
Apart from solo performances and performances aside his brother, he has collaborated with several Indian and international artists for live shows and musical albums. He has also performed in some of the leading musical festivals of the country. He has played at the WOMAD Festivals in Australia, and New Zealand, and many other foreign countries like Algeria, France, England etc. He has also played with many musical bands of other countries. He also conducts workshops in many foreign countries.
