Ridhima Ghosh is a popular Bengali actress at present. She made her acting debut through television and later moved to big screen. ‘Bou Katha Kou’ was her debut television serial and 2009 movie, Friend directed by Satabdi Roy marked her big screen debut. She is the first celebrity model for the FFACE Calendar. She is known for her cute looks and next door girl charm. As an actress she gained popularity with the movies, Laptop and Rang Milanti which shaped her career as well. Both the movies were directed by Kaushik Ganguly. At present she is willing to work in Bollywood and Tollywood. Rang Milanti is the movie close to her heart.

She was born and brought up in Kolkata. She studied at Loreto House. Since school days, she dreamt to become an actress. She acted in plays while at school and college. Though she loves to become an actress, she gives equal preference to studies as well. Her first appearance was for the television serial, Bou Katha Kou in which she excelled in the role of the female antagonist. It was a less significant role. Very soon she signed her first movie, Friend and the movie was released the same year. But the movie flopped at box office. It was followed by a series of flops and less significant roles like Piriti Kathaler Aatha, Amar Sangi, Premer Phande Kakatua and Love Connection.

Rang Milanti and Laptop, released back to back in the years 2011 and 2012 brought her to limelight. Bicycle Kick, Amar Bodyguard, Hothat Sedin, Half Serious and Aashbo Aar Ekdin are her other releases. Ridhima is a foodie and loves dancing.
