Reshma Rathore Biography

Reshma Rathore is a successful south Indian actress, who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. After the super duper success of “Ee Rojullo” in 2012, she became a busy actress of Telugu cinema. She was first seen in the Telugu version of the super hit film – Bodyguard the same year. She made her Malayalam film debut with the 2015 movie - Appavum Veenjum as Sunny Wayne’s love interest, and her first Tamil film -Adhagappattathu Magajanangalay is slated to release in 2016. She played female lead in Telugu films - Love Cycle, Jai Sriram and Ee Rojullo.

She was born in Sringareni in 3rd November 1990. Her younger brother is doing MBBS. She made her film debut with 2012 Telugu movie, Bodyguard, where she played Trisha’s friend. She made her debut with the Ee Rojullo film directed by Maruthi Dasari. The less budget film which marked Maruthi’s directorial debut too, became a sleeper hit at box office. It was one of the highest grossers of the year. The movie also starred the debutants – Srinivas and Saikumar Pampana. She won Best Confident Face of The Year awards at CineMAA Awards, and a nomination for Best Female Debutant at 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards.

Though she played female lead in Love Cycle and Jai Sriram, none could replicate the success of Ee Rojullo. She was paired with Uday Kiran for Love Cycle. Currently she has signed four Telugu projects which include -Jilakara Bellam and Nuvvakada Nenikkada. She will soon feature opposite Sundeep Kishan in an untitled film produced by Dr. D. Ramanaidu.  After her Malayalam debut, she is to enter Tamil and Bollywood film industry. Rathore had signed two films in Bollywood.
