Reshma Bombaywala Biography

Reshma Bombaywala is a former Indian model who was active in the entertainment industry in the 1990s. She was the first runner-up in Gladrags in the year 1995 and has also won Miss Beautiful Smile – subtitle at Femina Miss India 1995. She is married to bartender cum television host Dimitri Lezinska, who is known for the series Cocktail Kings in Discovery channel. She has done an item number ‘Marhaba Marhaba’ for Salman Khan starrer - ‘Garv’ directed by Puneet Issar and has also hosted the show – Speed. She is also a jewellery designer – one of her favourite hobbies.

Reshma was spotted by Bollywood choreographer Sangeet Chopra. She started modelling while doing under graduation at Mumbai. She has done ramp shows for several leading designers like Wendell Rodricks, Hemant Trivedi, Shahab Durazi, Azeem Khan etc. She also endorsed brands and appeared in music videos. In 1995 she became the first runner-up in Gladrags in the year 1995 and since then offers came pouring in. She appeared in a sizzling item number for ‘Garv’ in the late 1990s, Remixed version of "Koi Sehari Babu" and "Thoda daru vich pyaar mila de" song from the movie "Tum Bin". Yet she was not interested in accepting Bollywood roles any more or to choose acting as her career. Though she likes acting, she was not willing to take up work more than what she can do.

Reshma is an inveterate traveller and has hosted one show – Speed, travelling to many more cities like Bangalore, Mumbai and Goa. Reshma loves adventure sports. She has done scuba diving in Lakshadweep and Maldives and rafting. Though the actress has an hour-glass figure, she is a foodie and never does dieting. Hyderabadi biryani is her favourite. Painting is her hobby and she loves to paint landscapes.
