Reema Debnath Biography 
Reema Debnath is an Indian film actress and television actress doing supporting roles. She belongs to Agartala, Tripura – North East part of India and among those North-East beauties who have made mark in Bollywood industry. Reema is best remembered for playing the supporting role of Savatri, the servant of Salman-Kareena starrer Bollywood blockbuster – Bodyguard. Reema was also seen in the Bollywood all-time blockbuster ‘PK’. She is a member of Cine & TV Artist Association, Mumbai and holds a certificate for acting course from Kolkata Film and Television Institute.
Reema Debnath was born on 13 November 1979 in Agartala, Tripura. Her father Surendra Debnath worked in government sector and is retired now and her mother, Hiran Bala Debnath is a homemaker. Her younger sister Iren Debnath is a psychologist. After graduation in commerce, Reema did a certified course in computer science from IGNOU. She even completed MCA under the pressure from family, only to know that it’s not her field! She joined Kolkata Film & Television Institute and performed as an artist as well.
After completing the acting course, she joined television and appeared in a few television shows - Jai Shri Krishna and Colors and Chandramukhi on DD1. She was also seen in a few episodes of Kaalaya Saaya, Aahat, Jyoti etc, apart from a few TV ads. 2009 movie - Namah Shivaya Shantaya marked her Bollywood debut in the role of goddess Parvati and she was also seen in a few Bhojpuri and Bengali movies.
She married Subrata Debnath in July 2007 and filed for divorce two years later. In 2012, Reena approached the high court Mumbai to inform that she is alive. After a troubled marriage, this aspiring actress and estranged husband are fighting a matrimonial dispute in the Bombay High Court, when HC’s order declared her dead.
