Ravindra Upadhyay Biography 
Ravindra Upadhyay is an Indian singer, who is best known in Bollywood for rendering his voice for the popular song, Jiya Laage Na aside Sona Mohapatra for the movie Talaash: The Answer Lies Within (2012) starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. However he is not regular with Bollywood music. He has also rendered his voice for movies such as Happy New Year, Aag, Iqbal, Rakhtcharitra etc. He is a lawyer by profession. He was the winner of Samsung Super Singer Contest, judged by top musicians and singers like Rahman, Adnan Sami and Himesh Reshammiya. His song was used in the popular ‘Lovely’ song of Happy New Year.
Ravindra Upadhyay is a lawyer from Jaipur, Rajasthan. He is a trained Hindustani vocalist. He sings both Rajasthani and Hindustani songs. He made his way beating over lakhs of participants from all over India after the nail-biting finale of the Samsung Super Singer Contest, which helped him to gain popularity and a few film songs. Jiya Laage Na of Talaash: The Answer Lies Within, Lovely’song of Happy New Year, Ankhon Mein Sapna of Iqbal, Padhna hai to padhle bande of Jaana, Najane aise ke kar dala, Hostel Holi Song for blind children etc are some of his recorded songs.
He has released many musical albums, and also sings songs for political parties. His private albums are Tanhai (EMI), Super singer (Times Music), Remix of Bappi Lahiri songs (HMV) and Aag ka dariya (With Zeus and Yana Gupta). He has also sung for Hamara Rajasthan, released by Rajasthan state government. He is active with his live music shows, though he is not regular in Bollywood film industry.
