Ravi Pujari Biography 
Ravi Pujari is an underworld don from Mumbai, best known for extorting and threatening Bollywood celebrities and high-profile individuals. He currently resides in Australia, and as per latest reports, Pujari was arrested in Senegal following a joint operation with the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad and Bengaluru police. He is expected to be extradited to India soon. His name has been linked with a number of extortion cases involving high-profile individuals. Between 2009 and 2013, he has threatened Bollywood’s top stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar and also leading filmmakers like Rakesh Roshan and Karan Johar.
His criminal career started in Andheri, Mumbai when he was young. He is a school dropout. He was a small-time criminal then, who also killed Bala Zalte, a rival. He later joined the gang of Chota Rajan in the 1980s. He moved to Dubai in the late 1990s. He is believed to be carrying a forged Australian passport, and Indian police couldn’t catch him. By that time he started extorting and threatening builders and high profile people related to real estate. Slowly his activities spread wide and he started threatening film personalities. He didn’t even spare top actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar with his bizarre demands. Pujari threatened Shah Rukh Khan for his relationship with Karim Morani, his business partner.
When Preity Zinta was harassed by her then boyfriend Ness Wadia, his father Nusli Wadia - Mumbai entrepreneur and textile magnate received a call from Pujari. He was asked not to harass the actress. He once called an MLA named Sambhaji Patil from Australia seeking financial help. Once he demanded a huge sum of 5 crores from Arjit Singh in 2015, who became a singing sensation in the recent times. When Arjit couldn’t pay him such a huge amount, he was asked to do two shows organised by his friend for free.
He killed Om Prakash Kukreja of Kukreja builders in the mid-1990s, and several builders have narrowly escaped his murder attempts. In 2016, his threatening of Syed Ali Shah Geelani over the controversy of Jawaharlal Nehru University, created big headlines. Now settled in Australia, he threatened numerous politicians between 2017 and 2018. He has been finally nabbed at Australia on January 31st, 2019 and to be brought to the mother country soon.
