Raveena Ravi is a south Indian film actress and dubbing actress who started off her career as a child dubbing artist in the late 1990s. She has dubbed female voices for both Tamil and Malayalam films. In 2017 she made her film debut in lead heroine role in the highly acclaimed and award winning Tamil drama film, Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu directed by Suresh Sangaiah. She was paired with Vidharth for her debut flick. Earlier she has dubbed for many leading heroines of the industry. She is the daughter of popular dubbing artist, Sreeja Ravi.

Raveena is currently settled in Chennai. She was born in 1993 into a family with a filmy background. She is the daughter of dubbing artists Sreeja Ravi and Ravindranathan. Her father is also a singer. She is of Kerala origin. Following parents’ footsteps Raveena too started her professional career as a dubbing artist. She started off her career in 1995 as a dubbing artist when she was just 2. Her voice was used for the Tamil film Thotta Chinungi. Later she dubbed for several TV ads, apart from Tamil and Malayalam movies as a child artist. She regularly worked with ads produced by Rajiv Menon.

After an initial start as a child artist she took a break from the industry and returned back in 2012. This time she dubbed for adult actresses. She worked in both Malayalam and Tamil movies. She dubbed for lead heroines for Tamil movies such as 555, Nimirndhu Nil, Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum, Pichaikkaran etc and for Jomonte Suvisheshangal, Valleem Thetti Pulleem Thetti, Salt Mango Tree, Madhura Naranga, Bhaskar the Rascal etc. She also dubbed for Madonna Sebastian for Telugu version of Premam most recently. In 2017, she made her acting debut in lead role through Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu. As a dubbing artist, her voice has been regularly used for Amy Jackson in the recent times.
