Ramesh Pisharody Biography

Ramesh Pisharody is a star anchor and mimicry artist of Malayalam television. He has also played supporting and lead roles in a few movies. He gained huge popularity after his comedy show – Bluff master aside Dharmajan, who regularly played female lead aside him. The chemistry between these two comic actors made Bluff master one of the most popular television shows in Malayalam. Currently he anchors the popular celebrity show – "Badayi Bunglaw" on Asianet, a Malayalam version of ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ – a popular show on TV Colors. The show was earlier hosted by Mukesh. Currently he resides in Thrippunithura with his wife Soumya and daughter Peeli, in the home with a unique name – Kalikood.

 
He was born in Karikode, Kottayam in 1983. He was active in cultural activities since school days. She studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya till class 2. Then he studied at Kariyode. After schooling he studied pre-degree at Thalayolaparambu Devaswom Board College. In the first year at college, he got second prize at University intercollege festival. It was his real beginning to art field. After this win, many clubs invited him to do programs. Once he happened to read an advertisement in newspaper seeking new mimicry artists for Salim Kumar’s troop. He got selected and was a part of the troupe for long five years and served as its manager as well.

 
But his real breakthrough was the show ‘Bluff master’ in the newly launched channel of Asianet television network. He, along with another mimicry artist Dharmajan appeared in different getups and roles every day to entertain crowd. In more than 100 episodes, Dharmajan acted as his wife as well. He made his film debut through Positive (2008) and has played memorable roles in Immanuel, Celluloid and Veeraputhran. He played lead hero role in Kappal Muthalali, though a box office failure.
