Raju Sundaram Biography 
Raju Sundaram is a well known choreographer of Tamil movies. He occasionally acts and has directed a few movies as well. He is an eldest son of dance master Mugur Sundar, and elder brother to dancing star Prabhu Deva and Nagendra Prasad. His birth name was Rajendra Sundaram and he retained his name, an exception among the three brothers. He has choreographed hundreds of film songs and one of the leading names of Tamil film industry. In 2010, he received Filmfare Award for Best Choreographer for Telugu movie – Brindavan.
Prabudeva entered film industry performing in an A. R. Rahman number, Chik buk chik buk raile of Gentleman (1992) aside Gauthami and that top rocking song of the year was choreographed none other than his elder brother, Raju Sundaram. Now he guides new choreographers of Kollywood a lot. Most recently he choreographed the item number pictured on Priyamani and SRK in the blockbuster – Chennai express. The song, One two three, wonderfully weaved in Tamil style was received by loud applause.
Raju has acted in a few movies and music videos also. Bombay Viking’s popular album, Kya surat hai kya surat hai – is one such noted music videos. His movie appearances include – Quick gun Murugan, Jeans, I Love You Da and 123. 123 is one such movie in which he acted with both his brothers. The movie, with three versions, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada was released in the year 2002 and it starred Jyothika in lead role. Apart from these movies, he has done cameo appearance in numerous movies. He debut direction with Tamil movie – Aegan in the year 2008. The movie starring Ajith Kumar and Nayantara in leading roles was a failure at box-office.
He has worked with A. R. Rahman in numerous projects. As a choreographer, his best Tamil movies include – Bombay, Roja, Kandukondain Kandukondain, Gentleman, Ayan, Sivaji: The Boss, Paiyaa, Kaavalan, Billa 2, Singham 2, Chandramukhi, Ghajani, Anyan and Jeans. His Hindi films include – Bol Radha Bol, Aks, Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar, Albela, Run, Pyar diwana hota hai, Hulchul, Kyun! Ho Gaya Na..., Chennai Express, Dastak, Criminal, Gundaraj, Barsat, Krishna, Mrityudatha, Ziddi, Auzar, Love You Hamesha, Barood, Pukar, No entry and Sadma. He has also worked in other south Indian languages as a choreographer.
