Rajkumar (Tamil Actor) Biography

Rajkumar is a Tamil film actor known for playing supporting and character roles. Made his film debut with critically acclaimed Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom (2012) playing one among the four friends, he portrayed several noted character roles onscreen after that. Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham (2013) and Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum (2015) are his next best roles up-to-date and most recently he was seen playing the role of Half Boil in 2017 critically acclaimed and commercially successful film, Vikram Vedha.

 

Rajkumar marked his film journey with Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom in 2012, which marked the acting debut of a bunch of actors and also its director, Balaji Tharaneetharan who made his debut with this film. Based on the real-life incidents, Rajkumar got the rare opportunity to portray the film director Balaji’s role onscreen. The story is about a person who loses his memory one day before marriage following a ball hit, and how his friends manage everything including his marriage without others’ knowledge. Later he was seen as sidekick of the lead hero in a bunch of films, henchman etc and got noticed as well.

 

The following year he essayed a pivot role in Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham, where he enacted one of the four trapped friends. He was also seen in Vanakkam Chennai the same year. Since his debut, he has worked with Vijay Sethupathi for the movies, Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, Vikram Vedha etc. The actor is now busy in Tamil cinema, and already had three releases this year. His fourth film this year, Neruppu Da is his upcoming release, where he essays the supporting role of Karthik. His role as Half Boil in Madhavan starrer Vikram Vedha was well received.
