Rajesh Kumar is a successful television actor associated with Hindi television industry. His role as Subodh Thakkar in the popular children’s series, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby made him a popular actor of mini screen. He played the role for more than 5 years. His role as a childish poet Rosesh Sarabhai in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai was also appreciated. He played solo lead in the SAB TV prime time TV show Mr. and Mrs. Sharma Allahabadwale.  Apart from numerous television roles, he has also played a few character roles on big screen. He excelled in comic roles, and loves to experiment with negative shaded roles as well.

Rajesh Kumar hails from Patna, Bihar. He was born on 20 January 1976. He graduated at the Hindu College, University of Delhi. His entry to acting field was quite unexpected. He came to Mumbai for the first time in 1999 to visit his sister, who was expecting a baby. Got bored during the daytimes, he decided to join theatre of his friend to get rid of boredom. But he got attached with theater and also completed Mass Communication course at St. Xavier’s, Mumbai. He first attended the audition of Star Bestsellers.

After playing less significant roles in TV series, Kkusum, Kaun Apna Kaun Paraya, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka etc, he got the big break through the sitcom, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai in 2004. His nasal accent and terrible poetry entertained audience a lot. His role as Subodh Thakkar in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby made him a household name. In 2008 he hosted Comedy Circus 2 aside Rajeev Nigam. He played the lead role of Dristhdumn Sarveshwar Sharma on SAB TV’s Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabadwale. Bhootwala Serial, Chintu Chinki Aur Ek Badi Si, Love Story, Pritam Pyare Aur Woh, Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai and Yam Kisi Se Kam Nahin are a few more noted roles. He played the male lead in Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai.
