Rajesh Krishnan Biography 
Rajesh Krishnan is a playback singer and actor who concentrates most on Kannada movies. Yet he has been associated with other languages like Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. He has recorded his songs for more than 1000 films in his career till now. In a career spanning to more than two decades, apart from playback singing, he has also done many devotional albums, theme albums and commercials. He has received numerous awards for his singing including Mysore Fans association award, Nandi awards and Karnataka state awards. He won Karnataka State Award for 'Dumbi' in 2000 and 'Ekangi' in 2002. He got Nandi Award for 'Ninne Pelladatha in the year 1996. Kalaa saagar award, Andhra cinegoers association award, Press Club of Hyderabad award, The Aryabhata award and Saimira Kasturi cinegandha award are a few more.
Rajesh Krishnan was born in a Tamil family of musicians settled at Bangalore. He was born on a New Year day – 1973 in Bangalore. He learnt first lessons of music from his mother, Meera Krishnan. Rajesh Krishnan started his career as a track singer under the guidance of composer Hamsalekha. His singing debut happened in the year 1991 with the movie Gauri Ganesha. He has sung over 3000 songs in Kannada, 500 in Telugu, 250 in Tamil and Hindi. He has sung in about 15 languages, including private albums.

His family life has not been smooth and has married thrice – Singer Soumya Rao, Haripriya and Ramya Vasishta (TV anchor and singer).
