Rajesh K. Abraham Biography 
Rajesh K. Abraham is an upcoming film director associated with Malayalam film industry who made his film debut through the thriller - Aaru Sundarimaarude Katha in 2013. This thriller film starred 6 actresses playing pivot roles - Umang Jain, Nadhiya, Zarina Wahab, Lena, Shamna Kasim and Lakshmi Rai. But the film opened mixed reviews from critics. The movie entered the Limca Book of Records for featuring finger dance for the first time in cinema. An alumnus of MCRC Jamia New Delhi, he has worked with many senior directors of Malayalam film industry like Bhadran, Rajiv Menon and Jijo Punnoose, before directing the first film in 2013 at the age of 40.
He hails from Bharananganam, Kottayam, Kerala. Rajesh calls himself a writer-director. He has written several screenplays and writing is an integral part of his professional life. He wrote the screenplay of the tele-film - Tree of Life, which won the Kerala Film Critics Award for the best screenplay in 2006. Cinema has been his passion since early days. He graduated from Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi.
He reached Delhi for the first time to prepare for the civil services examination. But he ended up learning cinema. Later he assisted many directors of Malayalam cinema. He has also worked for Navodaya studio for long eight years, which gave him some wonderful experiences in the field of cinema. He has been waiting for the past 10 years to see Malayalam cinema witness a chance. He marked his debut with Aaru Sundarikalude Katha, shortly called ASK, a women oriented film and a sports film too. The central character is played by Nadia Moydu, a former basket player who wants to cherish her dreams through her daughter, the character played by noted model - Umang Jain. Zarina Wahab plays Nadia’s mother in this film.
