Rajesh Hebbar Biography 
Rajesh Hebbar – the multi personal TV star is a character artist of Malayalam cinema who has portrayed some negative roles as well. He regularly appears in television serials and is a singer too. He is the lead singer of the rock band - "Primitive Knights”. Rajesh has won the Kerala state critics award for second best actor in television in 2007 for his tele film work Tik Tik. He bagged Asianet award for best actor in a negative role in 2012 for the serial "Ammakili". Ullurukkam directed by Shyamaprasad, Akashadoothu, Ammakili, Allaudinnum Adbudha Villakkum and Uniiyarcha are some of his notable small screen roles. Sevens, Karutha Pakshikal, City of God, In ghost house inn, Molly Aunty Rocks, Ulsaha Committee, The tiger, Amen, Face to face, Innathe Chintha Vishayam, Passion and Manassinakkare are a few of his popular film roles.
He belongs to a business family in Palakkad. Yet he dreamt to become an actor. His mother, Padmini is a trained dancer and singer. It was his mother who inspired him a lot to choose entertainment field and she also gave him initial training. While studying at Government Victoria College, Palakkad, he won best stage actor several times. He was the leading voice of a music band, Primitive Knights since his college days. He also participated in inter-college competitions. In between he joined family business and worked as a freelancer journalist writing on movies in the late 1990s.
In 2001 he made his first short film with the help of two friends for Digital Talkies International Film Festival in New Delhi which proved to be his career breakthrough. His family members acted in the 11-minute short film, Mirage. Chithrakoodam (2003) marked his debut as an actor in second lead.
