Rajeev Siddhartha Biography

Rajeev Siddhartha is a popular television and film actor associated with Hindi entertainment industry since 2014. He also appears in web series at present. He is best known for playing the lead role of Romal in the web series Romil & Jugal. He is one actor who has enjoyed success on the web space and is now working on TV. Siddhartha began his career in 2007 with the film Dil Dosti Etc, and later moved to small screen. He has stayed in the industry for more than a decade. He doesn’t want to get stuck in a single medium and tries to experiment with different roles on screen. He is a banker turned actor.

Rajeev Siddhartha hails from Delhi. His younger days were spent in different boarding schools of Dehradun. Later he studied economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. He also completed MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management and Higher Studies, Mumbai. Rajeev worked in private banking sector for a while before he identified and pursued his real passion of acting. He got his first break to films during his college days. After Dil Dosti Etc, he appeared in Bollywood film - Jolly LLB, and TV series – 24.

He bagged the lead role of web series, Romil & Jugal, which shot him to instant fame. He shared screen space with Manraj Singh for this popular web series which dealt with the subject of gay love story. Both the actors also received critical acclaim. Yet he didn’t feel uncomfortable kissing his co-star. The series was supposed to be a film but the plan got scrapped because the Supreme Court passed Article 377. Both the actors even auditioned for the role. Later the makers made it into a web series. After the success of Romil & Jugal, he was featured in a series of web series.
