Rajat Nagpal Biography

Rajat Nagpal is a music composer & producer and sound engineer from Haryana. After working as an assistant composer/producer and recording engineer with many leading names of Indian music industry, he has worked for some individual projects as well. He produces music on Logic Pro and Protools, and uses piano as the main music instrument. With his long term association with Beatfactory Studios, Fashion, Taare, Ban Ja Rani, Suit Suit, All I Need, Akhiyan, Khamkha Yu Hi etc are his major works. Many of his singles for Bollywood films are instant chartbusters, and he has worked with many popular playback singers of today. He is associated with Guru Randhawa for most of his works.

 

Rajat Nagpal belongs to Fatehabad, Haryana. Since young he learnt music and actively participated in school and college festivals too. In association with Guru Randhawa, he has done some successful projects in private album field and Bollywood music too. They together composed songs for Bollywood films such as Hindi Medium, Muskurahatein, Tumhari Sulu, Muskurahatein, Tumhari Sulu, Dil Juunglee etc. Kaun Nachdi of Tumhari Sulu, Ban Ja Rani of Tumhari Sulu and Suit Suit of Hindi Medium are some of the popular Bollywood tracks of the duo. Keyboards, Piano and Harmonium are the major music instruments he uses to produce music.

 

After working for several private albums, Rajat started his career as a music composer of Bollywood films aside Guru Randhawa in the year 2017. English Medium is their debut work in Bollywood, and their single Suit Suit got instant success. Since then they work in several projects together. He is a well-known name in the music industry as a recording engineer too. Popular singers Palak Mucchal and Neeti Mohan have done playback for his Bollywood songs.
