Rahul Ravindran Biography 
Rahul Ravindran is a young actor of Tamil and Telugu movies. He has also worked in an English movie, House of Abandoned Robots in 2012 where he played the role of Siddharth. He debut acting in the year 2010 with the Tamil movie, Moscowin Kavery and later appeared in movies like Vinmeengal, Soorya Nagaram and Vanakkam Chennai. He debut Telugu with the movie, Andala Rakshasi in the year 2012 for which he won a nomination at SIIMA Awards for Best Male Debutant. His second released Telugu movie is Nenem…Chinna Pillana? opposite Tanvi Vyas and his upcoming Telugu project is Pelli Pustakam. At present he is dating Chinmayi, leading playback singer of south Indian film industry. Their marriage is scheduled to happen in 2014, February.
Rahul was born in Chennai on June 23, 1981. His ancestors belong to Thanjavur district. He completed his schooling from Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School and later took a degree in commerce. He later went to Mumbai to take a Masters in Business Management. During this time, he briefly worked as Assistant Brand Manager for a private company. It was just co-incidence that he entered entertainment industry. While dining at a restaurant, he got an offer to audition for a television commercial directed by Dibakar Banerjee. Very soon, he got a few more commercials. He also did dubbing works for television programs for Tamil also.
He quit his job and returned back to Chennai to find works in movies. At first he became the assistant director to Ravi Varman. It was during this time he auctioned for Moscowin Kavery and got selected. It was Ravi Varman’s debut movie as a director and Rahul was casted opposite Samantha in this movie. Later he has worked aside south Indian actresses like Tanvi Vyas, Anuja Iyer, Meera Nandan etc.
