Rahul Kanwal Biography 
Rahul Kanwal is a media personality, TV journalist and anchor associated with television media. He anchors several popular news shows shown at prime time, and has interviewed many famous personalities associated with different fields, most notably politics and current affairs. Among his TV shows, Seedhi Baat, Centrestage, Newsroom etc are some of his popular shows. He currently anchors shows on India Today Television as well as on Aaj Tak, two leading news channels. He also holds the position of Managing Editor on India Today Television.
Rahul Kanwal was born on 14 September 1980 in Patna, Bihar. Rahul’s father is an author, thinker, and a strategic affairs expert. He is married to Jasleen Dhanota since 2011. His younger brother is settled in London. Since studying in 10th standard, he dreamed to become a successful journalist. He completed graduation in mass communication from the Patna University his education followed by Post-graduation from Cardiff University. Rahul visits Delhi Gymkhana club and he loves to play squash.
He started his professional career with Zee News soon after his studies. After that he worked with Aaj Tak news channel. It was during this time he started gaining popularity. Later he successfully hosted several TV shows, participated in talk shows and interviewed celebrities too. A hard working person, he works almost 17 hours a day.
Quite popular among Indian audiences through his news shows, his debates and discussions with influential personalities have made him a very popular personality in Indian media. One of the top anchors of Indian television, he is a recipient of many news awards, most notably ITA Award for Best Anchor - News/Current Affairs show, ITA Award for Best News/Current Affairs Show etc. Rahul has also been nominated for ITA Awards for the Best Anchor- Talk/Chat Show.
