Ragini Sutradhar Biography

Ragini Sutradhar is an actress and model from West Bengal. She works in Odia movies. She has also worked in Bengali, Telugu and Kannada films. She marked her screen debut with 2012 Bengali film, Ek Tuku Choya Lage directed by Jeet Goswami, and later established through Odia films. Till now she has appeared in 10 films belonging to different languages. A few of her delayed films are waiting for theatre release. Mu Eka Tumara in 2013 is her first Odia film, and later she appeared in Gadbad, Hari Om Hari, Tume Thile Saathire, Dekha Hela Prema Hela etc.

Ragini Sutradhar was born and grew up in Bankura, West Bengal. She was born on 25 September 1994. She completed her schooling from hometown, Bankura, and later graduated from Seth Anandram Jaipuria College, Kolkata. She started her career as a model and then started accepting film roles. She won “Telegraph T2 Beauty Peagant Eastern India 2011” at the age of 19, which brought her to spotlight for the first time, after which she got offers from Bengali and Odia film industry.

Soon after winning the contest, she got her first break to films through Bengali film, “Ek Tuku Choya Lage” and the movie was released in the year 2012. She later acted in a couple of Bengali films - Mitali Guest House and Swarna Mudra, apart from other language films. She has signed her first south Indian project, Kayyum Bhai – a Telugu film in 2017. Her second south Indian project, 100 Rupaya Note – a bilingual film is to be released in Kannada and Telugu languages. The movie is slated to release in 2020. Swarna Mudra is her upcoming Bengali flick.
