Ragini Dwivedi is a model and Kannada film actress. Originally Dwivedi is a Punjabi. But she was brought up in Bangalore. She was the runner up of 2009 Femina Miss South India contest held in Chennai. She managed to win Miss Beautiful Hair title at the contest. A few of her noted movies include – Shiva, Veera Madakari, Shankar IPS, Naayaka, Aarakshaka, Face2Face, Bangari, Villain, Kempegowda and Kalla Malla Sulla. She has appeared Mohanlal – Amitabh Bachchan starrer Malayalam movie, Kandhahar, movie based on Indian military force.

 
Ragini Dwivedi started her career in Kannada movies after her stunning achievements at Miss India Contest 2009. She made her acting debut with the Kannada film Veera Madakari with Sudeep as her co-star in 2009. The movie was one of the commercial successes of the year and she won Suvarna Film Award for Best Debut Actress. But later her films flopped one after the other including her Malayalam debut, Kandhahaar. In 2011, Kannada action film, Kempegowda became a blockbuster. She was paired opposite the hero of her debut movie, Sudeep. She won her first nomination at Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Kannada for the same movie. Kalla Malla Sulla and Kaanchaana, comedy movies were also noted the same year, thus beginning Ragini’s successful career. The song ‘Thuppa Beku Thuppa’ of Kalla Malla Sulla became an instant hit.

 
2012 was a good year for this upcoming actress. She was paired opposite leading stars of the industry like Upendra and Shivarajkumar. For her powerful performance in Siva, she won SIIMA Critics’ best actress award. She was paired opposite Shivarajkumar in this movie. In 2012, she debut Tamil with Aariyan. Same year, she was paired opposite Mammootty in Malayalam movie, Face2Face. But the movie failed at box-office. Her upcoming movies include - Ragini IPS, where Ragini plays a police officer and Brahmana.
