Priyanka Shah Biography

Priyanka Shah is a successful model who was one among the finalists of Femina Miss India contest in 2007. She won Miss Tourism 2007 and was also the winner of the show - Get Gorgeous, on Channel V. Though she was supposed to make the film debut through a Tamil film in 2008 opposite Vishal Hedge and Sibiraj - Kalla Kadhalan, the movie got shelved. In 2015, she made her film debut through the Bollywood film - I Love Desi. She played the female lead opposite Vedant Bali in this romantic comedy film directed by Pankaj Batra. However the movie sank without any traces.

5 ft 9″ tall model Priyanka is a half-Maharashtrian half-Gujarati girl. She was doing her graduation in Engineering while participating in Miss India Contest 2007. A sportsperson since young, she is also a former captain of the India national netball team. She shot to fame after winning Pantaloons Femina Miss India Tourism 2007. She was also a finalist of Femina Miss India contest the same year. She is also the winner of the titles - Miss India International and Zoom Levis diva. She is a celebrity PETA activist, who has been honoured for her activities. She has saved and given shelter to several pets which earned her appreciation. Though she was to debut big screen through south Indian films in 2007, the movie got shelved. She was to play a glamorous wife in the movie, Kalla Kadhalan.

Priyanka has done an acting course at the famous Kishore Namit Kumar acting school in Mumbai and has endorsed many leading brands. She has also been a ramp model for leading designers of the country. In 2009, she was honoured with ‘Gujarat Gaurav’ award for her contribution to the fields of modelling, fitness and entertainment.
